Mesa vacations cancelled until March 08 ?
Can anybody at Mesa confirm this? All pilots, aircraft types, vacations cancelled until March 2008 due to crew shortages.
I feel bad for all the familes planning on family vacations... |
It's happened before since JO has been there. Use sick days and make your own vacation. Problem solved.

I no longer feel sorry for the mesa guys and no one else should. They where not drafted by mesa and they are not indentured servants. I will even go as far as saying "HA HA thats what you get, Serves you right, I hope they cancel your vaction for the rest of the year.

While it sucks to not be able to take your earned vacation... I'm sure you won't have time for vacation with even more Delta flying now that ASA "costs more" and Comair just sitting in the corner waiting to be dismantled.

Come to think of it, why can't we just get rid of this whole seniority system? Without it, we'd all have our free agency back, and could walk away from places like Mesa without having to start over at the bottom again.
