So are these job fairs just advertised in Air Inc's newsletter? Also curious what you mean by rediculous Jason. Thanks for the help guys. Hate to sound like a greedy-go-getter but I think if I teach any more ground ref or holding I'm gonna loose it.

The seminars travel around the country, so eventually there should be one in your area.

You totally don't sound like a greedy go-getter. You sound like a solid applicant very excited about furthering your career. As for ridiculous, I was just meaning that if you spend $175 on the seminar, another $50 a pop for workshops, God knows what on airfare, $100 a night in the hotel, cab fares/ rental car, and food, it all adds up very quickly! However, you have already spent a far greater sum acquiring your certificates, so what's another few hundred dollars, especially if it lands you the job, and that's how I hope to justify it.
Also guys, do ya'll know where AWAC does their sim training. I know that Indoc and Systems training is in Appleton, but i'm not sure where the sim training for the CRJ happens.

Feb 20th will be the last offical new hire class until May according to a letter from one of our fleet managers. If you haven't interviewed by now, I wouldn't put any money into a job fair with AWAC in mind until late march/april time frame. Keep sending in those resumes though.

Fosters is right. I got the call about an hour and a half ago that our interviews were being postponed until at least the end of March. They asked if I wanted to keep my spot on the list of people they call when hiring resumes, and it sounds like anybody that had an interview scheduled was extended the same courtesy. I guess that's life in the airlines. Still a bummer though.

Any idea as to the reason for the halt in hiring/classes. I thought they were going to be hiring pretty aggressively for the rest of the year. I am in the Feb 20 class so I guess that means I'll be on the bottom of the list for a while - but I guess that's better than not being on the list at all.
