Man CJ, sucks about your interview date getting postponed. I was really hoping to go to Air Whisky myself but sounds like thats not likely for a while. :( I just heard from Pinnacle the other day and plan to interview at the end of Feb. I hope they don't start postponing too...

Thanks freezing flyboy. I can't let it bother me though, because that's just the nature of this business. In my dealings to date with Air Wisconsin, they have been very very nice, and I have never been disappointed in Air Whiskey. If I were you I would still send my resume for two reasons. One, they may not be hiring now, but they will be again. They told me they would be calling people again in April, and they said that the pilots who had interviews scheduled would be called first, so it's not like they said never, they just said not now. The second reason I would send it in, is because they seem like a really great group of people. I have gotten to talk with several, and I liked them all! Good luck with Pinnacle, and I hope that goes well for you. I can't imagine they would do they same thing. They have their own set of issues with the NWA reorganization, but what airline doesn't have question marks? Same question for the rest of you guys though, does anybody know what kind of new hire total they may be looking at when they do start? I appreciate all of you who make this website great.

Sincerely,
CitationJason

I had the same call from one the recruiters.
The interview is postponed until the last week of march.
Might be worth the wait.

Hey saviboy, welcome to the board! I completely agree with you! I think it is worth the wait, and I hope to get to meet you in Appleton once they start the calls again. Really, the end of March is only about 6 weeks away. Some people wait that long just to hear back from a resume'. I feel like it may help our cases a little bit to show that we are willing to go with the ebb and flow of airline life, and I think hanging in there with them will say good things about us. I'm not sure about you, but for me, it helps give me a little more time to make myself more qualified. Looking forward to hearing everyone else's thoughts.

CJ

However, you have already spent a far greater sum acquiring your certificates, so what's another few hundred dollars, especially if it lands you the job, and that's how I hope to justify it.

Also guys, do ya'll know where AWAC does their sim training. I know that Indoc and Systems training is in Appleton, but i'm not sure where the sim training for the CRJ happens.

CJ

My past CFI went to dec. 5th class @ AWAC. He went to Appleton for indoc, ground, and CRM. He went to Denver for the sim, and is now living in ORF!
