FlyerJosh 12-29-2005 09:21 AM

Big_BoB 12-29-2005 01:16 PM

Well, if i was going INT. I would want the Virgin Atlantic girls but I do agree I think Skywest has the best looking girls. Even some of their gate agents are great looking too....:)

flyinhigh6165 12-29-2005 03:57 PM

Maxim Magazine featured the Virgin Atlantic flight attendants one month in there magazine...does that count for anything? :)

EFIS COMP MON 12-29-2005 04:06 PM

I'll throw my vote in for SkyWest.

robotsapproach 12-29-2005 07:43 PM

I'm getting into the Regionals because I love flying...but It's always nice to have a hot F/A. I heard Skywest, Colgan are the best. My buddy commutes on Colgan all the time because his Dad works for US Airways. He told me some stories to say the least. But believe it or not Mesa has some good ones also.....myspace.com....flight attendants groups and see for yourself!!

Doesn’t matter how attractive they are as long as they’re cool and don’t make your life hell on the road and in the airplane.

SonicFlyer 11-07-2018 06:07 AM

I walked by a gaggle of Virgin 74 FAs one day... looked like truth in advertising :D

When you teenagers figure this burning question out, let me know who's got the hottest pilots. Good luck with that!

Yes, thank you, I've been wondering if this thread existed. Because this is one of the most important pieces of information to know when choosing a regional ;)

Seriously though, after non-revving and deadheading on all the regionals I say the winner is hands down Mesa Airlines DFW/PHX based FAs. Skywest (not sure what base they were) receives honorable mention.

rickair7777 11-08-2018 06:55 AM

Legacy Virgin America. Then SKW, but only in certain bases.

That's just the US, foriegn operators would be a 'whole nother discussion.

Taco280AI 11-08-2018 07:45 AM

Stay away. That is all.

Senior F/As say that Delta became an also-ran when Badflaps retired. :D

Did we really have to resurrect a thread where the last post referenced MySpace?

Haha I was reading it and thinking hmm flight attendants still do their class group pages on Myspace. Oh wait, in 2006 they did.

The sure fire quickest way to screw up your life and career is to get involved with flight attendants in any way, shape or form. Be pleasant, polite and professional but stay far away. I’ve personally witnessed several pilots throw away their careers over pure stupidity.

Erj135dude 11-09-2018 03:59 AM

Lots of pilots married flight attendants!. A crazy one will Ruin your career tho

Glenntilton 11-09-2018 06:35 AM

United has some of the hottest ones.

But that was back in the '60's when many of them started working at UAL...

If you're both single, yeah sure why not have some fun if it's mutual and light.

But don't get serious or married, craziness aside, it's a real biatch to have kids if you both fly. Have to bid opposite schedules and never see each other.

But now you have to be concerned with people looking for a #metoo payday. Or #metoo revenge if the breakup wasn't amicable.

Yes this is very difficult because you spend a lot of time around them but you need to find women somewhere else. They just tend not to be emotionally or mentally stable. There was a guy at my previous company that ended up in jail on domestic violence charges because of accusations from a flight attendant who was known to be extremely disturbed.

Hate to break it to everyone but this is all women everywhere, not just FAs. I learned this lesson the hard way a long time ago and vowed to keep them all at arms length from that point forward. To quote Joshua in the movie War Games....

The only winning move is not to play.

I do not avoid women, Mandrake...but I do deny them my essence

As a female pilot, I can tell you that you male pilots should have no trouble meeting someone outside of work, especially dressed in your uniform. I wish the uniform had magical hotness abilities for us women, but sadly, it does not.

I've always thought it looks weird if I wear a pilot uniform to Whole Foods.

That comes naturally for women

I’ve heard this from several pilots and I will follow this advice. A few of them even said that FAs are dangerous. One said that sometimes FAs will intentionally try to get pregnant by a pilot, because she knows his salary and benefits, and she doesn’t want to be a FA forever. Have you all heard things similar to this?

That’s not just FAs. There are a special breed of women that will do this just as there are a special breed of men that will get a woman pregnant and not pay child support or generally be in that innocent child’s life.

Now every FA is different on a personal level, has different motivations, competencies, levels of intelligence, morals, etc, but the lowest bar an FA needs is what, a high school diploma? That leaves a very wide array of people you could be working with and they aren't going to be Rhodes Scholars. So if just 1% of FAs are the worst type of people, borderline criminal, and they see you, with a six-figure income at your stepping stone job, do you not think they'll try to take advantage of that? Whether that's getting knocked up, blackmail, or the old school pressure-you-into-marriage-after-6-months then bait-and-switch? Plus, don't forget that you work together, so there's an implication that they may try to sabotage you professionally, ranging from spreading rumors to filing complaints against you, that at a minimum, will air your dirty laundry to management. Now let's throw in some variables; what if the FA gets jealous, what if someone else who wanted to bang the FA gets jealous, what if you didn't know the FA was dating someone else in the company or that the FA was married, etc, etc. People love to talk and the rumor mill is lot smaller outside of work.

As far as avoiding women in general, that just sounds awful. Just find someone who is financially stable, get a prenup and be very leery of someone who finds a prenup "insulting," and date for a long time before getting married. It's easy to keep up an act for a year or two, but longer than that and you'll really see who they are. Marriage is either a lifetime or half your stuff, so what's the rush? You can wait a couple years

So, just like pilots then.
