Just be glad you're not flying supplemental private charters. These clowns are driving us crazy. We sometimes have to do our own screening. At BWI, they watched a crew screen with binoculars from the parking lot. They waited until everyone was onboard, came out and told the Captain they saw something they didn't like, it was a Mickey Mouse deal, and made them deplane and rescreen. I've had them demand to see my security training records (wait while I get it out of the filing cabinet in the back) entire crew refused passage thru screening because " your airline's not based here", have to open and visually inspect every catered meal. I've even had one of these idiots tell me "I could hold up the President's plane if I wanted to". Prepare for even worse because this is an agency that's flexing it's new found muscles in a quest for even more power.

Wow I'd get those people's names and badge numbers. Some of that is just a little crazy.

That's just a short list. Unfortunately, it's like arguing with a small town cop. You might be in the right but it's an uphill battle and you're gonna take one hell of a delay. I'd rather get the aircraft on it's way and not po the client, which more times than not, is a pro sports team and they're hard enough to please as it is.

my favorite part is when he said "what if im a passenger who does not have 3ounces with me but is confident that i could produce 3+ ounces on the flight."

How do they know it's fake just by feeling it? I think my middle school ID looked more official.

When TSA comes on the plane to do their security check, stop them before they enter the plane and ask for their ID's....see what kind of responce you get.

They look for those little imprints... I forget what they are called... but basically the little images of a globe or whatever that you can see if you tilt the ID back and forth. Hmm, reading this response thats proabably exactly how it reads in their training manual. :)
