we get stuck behind dashs going to lga all the time. I dunno if its cause of the plane or the crew

I think it's the plane. We used to ask for a higher/lower altitude out to ACK in the summer to get around them. If we couldn't, and if weather permitted, we'd cancel IFR, go VFR with flight following!!!!

I saw that there are no Saab FO classes until March. Does anyone know the Q400 FO schedule (how many per class, how many classes per month, all internal FOs)?

The first class was 9 and is just about done, the next class I know about through aviation interviews is I think jan 18th or around the mid jan timeframe. They are not really hiring internal FOs, they offered it at one point but there were no takers and I know for a fact of a few who wanted it and could not get it so who knows. I would imagine if they cant fill the right seat they will try again for internal. I would imagine not many takers though because why move to the Q when upgrade is less than a year away in the saab.

They need I believe 75 FOs and they have 9 so far

EDIT- I just saw this link http://www.colganair.com/jobQ400.htm It is in regards to upcoming interviews and by the looks of it they are not looking for 340 FOS they are aggresively seeking Q FOs and and 340 CAs
