Default Colgan and luggage

Hi,

Wondering if as a Colgan pilot you would need an overnight bag and a chart case or a chart case only? Dosnt look like Colgan does overnights, so probably no need for one, but what do the current colgan pilots do?

I don’t fly for Colgan, but even if you’re flying only day-trips, it’s a good idea to carry a small Dopp kit and a change of underwear.

You never know when flow control or MX will force you to spend the night someplace you hadn’t planned for.

The only Colgan pilots who do overnights are the ones based out in Houston. All the northeast bases are out and backs and you're home every night. Houston is also presently one of the most senior bases and newer folks there sit reserve all month as opposed to pretty much every other base where you're holding a line right away. So to answer your question, 99 times out of 100 all you need is your chart case unless you fly in Texas.
