Well I guess that sucks if that's what you heard. $50 is $50 even if it is per year. They obviously havn't told our jumpseat guy cause I talked to him last week and he said he talked to Delta the week before and they were working on it. Guess this is a recent development. Sucks for all the guys who only us Delta toj umpseat.

Anyone care to guess what would happen to 9E pilots (and Mesaba, Comair, etc. for that matter) if a NWA Delta merger/buyout went through?
From an optimistic standpoint, I'd think that that flying still needs to be done regardless of whether those 200s have NWA or Delta colors on the side...however, I'm just wondering strategically where it'd be safest right now--Comair, Mesaba, 9E, ASA, etc.??? Who wins, who loses...or would it be a draw??? Or bad for everyone???

If only I had a crystal ball. I think this is impossible to predict but everyone would like to know. Personally I think a Delta Alaska merger is more likely.

I know at first we did because they use your ppr number to list you for the JS. I know our jumpseat coordinator and Delta were working on a resolution so we wouldn't but I don't know if it has been resolved yet. it wasn't anything Delta was requiring but rather how Delta listed you for the jumpseat if you have Delta bennies. You had to have paid the $50 to show in the system.
Yeah, there's no getting out of the $50. But what about mileage fees? I assume that if I JS instead of non-reving that I will NOT get charged a mileage fee? The mileage fee is new for us and had not taken affect yet.
