Hello I have been reading this forum sometime now and wanted to start posting. Anyway my goal is to get hired at colgan and fly out of Del Rio. I plan on starting school soon and then moving forward. I am a second lifer and I am not doing this for the money. I don't think I would want to fly for the majors but who nows. I have a very high interest in flying for the regionals , flying in and out of the no name places seems fun to me. Thanks in advance for any info or help you give me.

It won't seem fun to you after you do it for awhile.
Seriously, it seems all fun and games, but after awhile you'll realize you're in it for the money. And don't ever forget that you are. The profession depends on that attitude.
However, if you are a second lifer, go for your goals. You'll never be happy, like many of us, unless you are flying airplanes. And for some, they're still not happy.
As a returning furlough said in one of my recent classes, "We all talk about getting out. I was there for 5 years. This is not a bad job."
Good luck.
