Not to my knowledge. All the ppl in my interview class and training class have at least 50. They will accept you with lower than "published" TT, tho. For those who haven't flown much recently (roughly <100hrs in 12 months) be prepared to go to an RJ transition course at company expense before starting AE training. See other thread for more info. on this

I thought they were offerring the transition course to people with less than published mins, which would include multi.

That very well may be. I just haven't heard of it. At my interview, no one had under 50 multi so i didn't hear anything about it. The only guys who are doing the transition course from my interview class had not flown in some time. I'm sure there are other reasons the Captains' board will suggest taking the course, tho.

Hello Bgmann,

Can you please confirm for me that the 'bid bos transfer ord' tactic worked for you? I read all the pages and saw that a few people did this.. just want to make sure it still works and nothing has changed.

I'll be applying very soon and would like the EMB at ORD as well..

Thanks.

If I can speak for anyone wanting the jungle jet out of ORD, the BOS - ORD transfer will work b/c there are only ERJs based at Boston AND there are 99+ FO vacancies in ORD. If you asked for ORD in the interview and want the ERJ, there's a 99% chance you'll get it.

Thanks! I am waiting for my UA and job references to clear.

When is the "best" time to put in the transfer? Do I wait until completion of training? Do I wait until I am entered into the JetNet computer and place the change that way? Or do I speak with the instructor about it on the 1st day of class? Thanks!

If you were called in the past what time of day?
