I remember not too long ago when 600 hours was low time.
600 hours with an "I can handle anything" attitude puts you in the most dangerous category as a pilot. |

By the way, the Cheyenne is a P.O.S. They call it the "K Mart King Air" for a reason.

I like the 400 quite a bit |
Hey bud,
I do agree with everyone about the standing of Mesa. The great part about where we live is you can take or leave advice you receive throughout your life. Let me promise you that Mesa will suck the life out of your passion for flying. Another fun fact to life is that you are able to make the decision that best fits your needs regardless of what everyone on this forumn thinks. This is the time to be a low time pilot so make sure this is taken advantage of. With your times, Express Jet would be worth a shot as well. They are hiring for spring classes as we speak. Make sure you bargain shop before you buy!! Good luck. |
As a guy who spent just under 10 years at Mesa, I am urging you to reconsider your choices in this matter. If you value your personal time at all, DO NOT TAKE this position. Your quality of life will be next to zero and your family, friends and significant other will likely abandon you for someone they will see more often. I plead with you to reconsider.

Hey man go where you can make it, try the airlines you feel good about, and dont let alot of folks make the decision for you. I nor anyone else knows what your goals or intentions are, nor your circumstances. Just do your work with regard to research and go for it. I wish you well in whetever route you choose. More specifically I hope you pass class, IOE etc. and reach all your goals in life.
