Does PSA have A/C on order? Is there planned groth or is attrition bringing the upgrade time down?

All the flowbacks are leaving in 2 months. That explains the recent upgrades. However, it appears they are planning many more, and the word through the grapevine is that more aircraft are coming.

I wouldn't hold your breath...

And if PSA does get 900's in the future, make sure you guys get paid to fly them! CRJ-900's would have been on property over a year ago if the management were willing pay the pilots more to fly them.

What are the req's to upgrade? It seems PSA has been hiring low time guys for a while.

texaspilot76 02-22-2008 04:33 PM

ATP minimums.

Attn HSLD:

The most junior captain in the current upgrade class has an October 2006 hire date. Where do we submit this information to update the information on APC?

Where it says, Have an update?

It's actually Aug 06. But these were 6 people that were at Piedmont then MidAtlantic then PSA. They were J4J's. So don't count in the "Real" seniority list.
I believe the new time to upgrade is going to drop to 2 years soon. So far no one in class has less than 2.6 years at PSA.

I just got hired on in January. In the interview they made it sound like they were going to get the CRJ 900 soon. There are a lot of pilots leaving to go back to fly for US Airways that PSA hired when they were on furlough from the mainline. Rumor has it that upgrades could go down to 1.5 to 2 years. But it is a rumor so…

I just looked at the Master seniority list and the upgrade awards. The most junior person in the March upgrade class is a October 2006 hire. I am not even counting the CEL guys you are referring to.
