Does your landing look like this?

Here's a video of an E-145 fighting some x-wind and windshear all the way down. Landing was absolutely brilliant.

Agree, but it was a hell of a nice landing. I'm sure we can all agree the pilot's a good stick.

Nice! somebody was filming me that day! thank you! ;)

Great video and deff. a good landing- but shouldnt every airline pilot be able to do that-If you have to think about wether or not you could, maybe you should think about switching jobs.

i'd think the majority of pilots who are flying out there could pull it off, it's just interesting to see it from a ground vantage point.

I can think of a couple times i was shooting the visual while looking out the FO's DV window to keep myself on the centerline, but you still don't get a real sense of what it would appear like on the ground with your concentration being set on squeaking her on. ;)

yes, my approaches look like that on a calm day! nice landing :D

Not bad for an amateur in 5 knots of crosswind

Very true, never did see a wind sock or indications of wind in the video LOL- maybe it was just a horrible approach that got saved at the last min:D:D
