From: 7ER B...whatever that means.
Compared to working in a cubicle this job is WAAAAAAY better. I did computer network design and support for 2 years and hated it for about 23 out of 24 months. The pay is about comparable to what I was making doing the networking thing. I knew I wasn't going to be home every night and personally I don't mind that. Nothing like "day 4 sex" when you get home and find the girlfriend wearing something skimpy
Unless the wife walks in on you unexpectedly

Well, my prior life was a desk job as a customer service rep for a major home phone provider that I had for 11 years. The job itself stunk, so I love regional flying a heck of a lot more(being on reserve, I keep thinking, at my old job I would've loved to have gotten paid to sit around and watch TV, but now I'm dying for that phone to ring and get called in...so I find it a good thing that I actually want to work...which wasn't the case before).
Now taking this job, I had to take a 50% paycut, but figured I am still making a little more than when I 1st started out with my old job, plus in 2 years(hopefully) I'll even out to what I was making before(and eventually surpass it).
So I love the job, just waiting for the pay to get better.

Looking forward to work is priceless. This is the only job (and I've held more than just a few) that I haven't dreaded waking up for. It's far from perfect, and I hate the Industry, but nesting myself in the flight deck makes life good. I wouldn't ever trade it in to fly a desk.
