Welcome to Midwest Connect. At least you can look forward to the occasional BWI or BDF turn.

i may not be understanding correctly but if i am i think this is crazy. so at skywest if your line doesn't get built up to 75 hours then they will put reserve days on your schedule anywhere they want to build you up to 75hrs?

the reason i ask is that here at good ole peknuckle if pbs builds a line and it doesn't make it to 75 hours then that is a tough break for the company and they cant add reserve days on. for example 2 months ago i bid for max days off. i got 19 days off and 70hrs of flying. and that was the end of it.

Awesome overnights, like Yakima, IDA and Helena.

I'm 22xx out of 28xx, SLC based.
Mesaba Bid, 17 days off, three weekends, 85 credit, no ACARS, turns into 95 hours credit, always commutable, bidding 31.

Only if you do not fall into the guaranteed line number. If they gurantee 150 lines, and you are 151, they will bring you to 75hours. If you are 150, and PBS buillds a 60 hour line, that is it, and you get paid for the 75 with no reserve.

ok, that makes more sense. it just wasn't making sense to me that they would add reserve days to line holders just to get their hours up.

since it sounds like we have a ****ing contest going on i will enter

for the last 10 months i have had 18-19 days off. average 85 hours of credit, all weekends off. been at pinnacle for 2.5 years and bid in the top 20 in mem.

So I am within the guaranteed (err, targeted) lines in my base - which is why I found my line-award to be strange...So I'll be flying my 60 hours and have my 19 days off but still get the monthly guarantee? How do I make sure they don't tag me with RSV?

Again, never seen anything like it - and have only sat 6 weeks of reserve in my 121 career.

How long you been with Skywest, Experimental? I've been here since September. (And I'm far from being a line holder in a very junior base.)
A year or so...can't believe what kind of seniority it takes to hold anything West of ORD LoL.

On the plus side, i'v put in for two seperate vacation days this summer and they have been approved same day as the request. shout back.
Doing fairly well! May have gotten myself a part-time gig with some super sketchy Skydive Op haha...I'll let you know how that turns out! How's FAT? I'm hoping to be on the Bro there come end of the year...

Well I was certainly in the targeted line holders range - who do I speak with? Is there something in the Policy manual, I'm having trouble finding it...

They won't...you're a "blockholder," therefore there should be no reserve days for you. I'm tellin' ya' it happened to me. Enjoy it. Remember though: if you pick anything up, you have to pick up more than 15 hours to make any extra m.o.n.e.y. Kick back and enjoy. These are good times if you've got any seniority and want to enjoy some leisure time.

Anyone have any idea what the jet classes look like? We need to make some room on the Tprop ladder and I know there are lots here that are waiting to make the move over to the jet.
I think late June will be the next jet class. Nothing like being stuck on the 120, working harder than me and making much less. Good luck.

SP 317 #9 in the Policy manual talks about composite lines and adding reserve up to the 75 credit.
