Default What to do?!?

Well, I am fully expecting to be chastised here, but I'm desperate. I was planning on applying to ASA, but now that their freezing hiring, I don't know what to do. I'm sitting on about 300 TT, 150 PIC, and only about 30 ME. I'm not extremely picky, but I'm looking for a decent QOL (meaning decent by Regional Airline Standards) I'm fully expecting to get crushed on this one, but I'm hoping someone has something useful for me.

This is simple ............... instruct.

With the hiring freeze pilots with your times AREN'T going to get hired anymore. Unless you're willing to take a career beating and go to BlowJet (don't even think about it, seriously!). I'm sure they'd love to have you.

Instruct or find some other flying gig (skydivers, traffic watch, etc), that’s about your only options now days.

I agree, instruct.

Keep updating applications at the airlines you want to work for, however.

well i think those days are over, for now. i was hanging out with my buddy at the school house the other day and he said you have to have either 1000/200 to get hired at pinnacle or you would have had to go through their jet u program. (and this has been proven by the several guys that have sent in their buddies resumes and been told no thanks till they have the time or go to jet u)

skywest has stuck to their mins and they are slowing down. i guess asa has pretty much stopped. i think you have to have 600 at mesaba. i really think for the next little bit airlines wont have to dig to the bottom of the pool to find pilots right now. especially with all the fo's leaving this place with several hundred hours in the rj to go to other companies.

300 TT and only 150 PIC? Why are 150 hours not PIC. I understand your private is not PIC, and your initial multi. But 150 hours?

No you know what's funnier? The fact that not more than a month ago it was possible. Guess all good things must come to an end.
