Eagle folks - Question?

Eagle folks - Question?
I have a flight scheduled from KDFW - KSGF - KORD on 3/29/08. It was the only open seat to get me to KORD. My question to you folks is: in KSGF, I change "flights". I'm trying to figure out if it is the same crew and a/c that continues up to ORD, or do I have to hope that my inbound a/c makes it to SGF, and my checked bags make the correct switch. Thanks for all your help.

First i will have to say why dont you get on a direct flight from DFW-ORD? They have more flights between those two citys then any other.
You will probably have to change planes and pray your bags make it to the right aircraft. I dont see SGF messing up, its mostly the hubs that are the best at that.
Whats the flight number you will be taking to SGF then to ORD? That will help.

I would go direct, however, the company just bought my ticket today, and there are NO SEATS available (coach) for DFW - ORD nonstop tomorrow. They said something about it being springbreak or something... The flight numbers are 3381 and 3941.

Unfortunately, they are different flights with different a/c and crews. I'd just say something to the gate agents about the bags or they probibly will send them to baggage claim.
And don't feel too bad, people couldn't even get on DFW-ORD flights from Eagle earlier this week with all of the cAAncelations. Have a good flight.

It might be a pain but if you get off the plane, talk with the gate agent about your worries and possibly just wait at baggage claim yourself to ensure you have your bags again then recheck your bags. Good luck, to bad we have this problem but thats what happens when you pay $9 an hour for a gangster ramper.

I had passengers arrive last week that flew DFW-ICT-ORD-ROC and them and thier bags made it. In SGF you will have to switch planes and crew. Your DFW flight will most likley go back to DFW, and ORD will turn ORD. Hope that helps

There are two good things... one- SGF is a small airport- there is not a large mess of bags going to 20 different destinations. Two- the rampers at SGF are not your typical thugs. I have been in and out of SGF many times in the last 2 years and I can say they do a good job there. They will help you in any way they can if you ask. Good luck.
