Market cap all the way down to $33 million now... wow!
Unfortunate turn of events for such a QUALITY company that treats their employees so well and thinks so highly of the law.
Survival of the fittest... and death of the bottom feeder. Good for the piloting profession overall, bad for the pilots that have hung on to and supported JO's disgusting cause.

Vacation cancellations extended for Mesa pilots...
Yet another punch in the face in terms of destroying an airline pilot's quality of life, families and sanity.
April 3, 2008
Mesa CRJ Pilot Team,
As you know, we cancelled the CRJ Pilot vacations for the period of March 9th
through May 3rd 2008. This was a difficult yet necessary decision to protect
the operational integrity of our scheduled service for our codeshare partners.
The training department has made great progress in reducing the backlog of
pilots in the pipeline and reducing the overall training footprint. As a matter of
record, we have released 25 First Officers (FO) and 58 Captain (CA) upgrades
in February and March and are on plan to release another 22 FO’s and 18
CA’s in April.
However, recent events with Delta and future Simulator time availability will
cause us to extend the cancelled vacations for at least another month through
May 31st.
Please know that this decision was necessary to ensure our operational
integrity and contractual obligations to our codeshare partners. I honestly
think we are on the road to recovery and this will be a great year for Mesa. I
am committed to making it so.
Thanks for your understanding and support.
