I have heard many times that if the merger goes through.... Mesaba saabs will have the same fate. From some people I know in Delta mngmt... Delta doesn't want anymore tubro-props. Mesaba stands to take a big hit in the merger is what I hear from the inside...

Your right... but the fate of MSP and SLC will be a big question, so service to those places may be gone. There will be big cuts in the "new Delta" system. Delta has already said they will downsize MEM into almost nothing, and they are still looking into the numbers about which Northern hub they will keep. I bet SLC will stay and all of us in the NWA system will be moving around, and that all depends on which regionals they will keep.
