Sleestak - I sent Camielle an email a week ago about taking the EMB class and haven't been able to get a hold of her on the phone either. Who did you talk to about switching classes? Did they give you May or June?

2. Any standups?

3. If not any of the above, what are the typical lines for junior lineholder?

4. How long from call to show for reserve?

Thanks for the info in advance!

Sleestak

SAN: Only locals and 4 days. THere are some 2 day trips that start at the co-domicile (Carlsbad).

PSP: Good mix of all varieties, and show times.

LAX is reserve only.

Haven't been junior for a while, so don't know how the junior lineholders are making out. However when I was, I was getting mostly 4 days with about 13-16 days off per month. Had to work weekends, but not bad overall. Some of the EMB schedules are grueling, however. Long days, no breaks, 8 legs.

As far as reserve is concerned, there is a 2 hour call out policy. HOWEVER: I understand right now that the company is pretty much abusing reserves with "ready reserve". This means you are on airport call, where you have to be waiting at the airport and ready to go within 20 minutes of receiving a call. It sounds like the company is just doling out this duty arbitrarily to alot of reserves, and believe me it is not fun. Alot of times 8 hours of sitting at the airport for nothing. Most are speculating that this is crew scheduling's way of punishing us for getting the 1.5 hour callout extended to two.

I was hired early this month and I'm looking forward to joining the team! I received the EMB study packet and I'm standing by for a class date. I know they said the May EMB class is full, and I know the RJ had a good bunch of folks swimming with many switching over now. Any ideas on how big the Bro pool is getting?

Thanks!
