Why are you going to Eagle with eight-year upgrades that will only get longer with no growth, no expansion, no new airplanes?

I came here because I didn't want to sacrifice my family time to commute to an unknown city to chase a quick upgrade. I live 4 miles from DFW. I am home within 35 minutes of walking off the plane. Pay if good. QOL is great and I get to spend the most time with the woman who supported me during all of the flight training to get to where I am now. Life is not all about the upgrade.

7 year upgrade that will drop abruptly when the 01 hires are all upgraded and the time is instantly 4 years and dropping while many others are increasing. Eagle announced today some additional flying for the summer when every other regional is getting flying cut like crazy. These people made their choice for their own personal reasons, fully knowing the reality of the road they are embarking on.

For those starting soon, welcome!

I'll be in the May 26th class. I can't wait to start! Would you do me a favor? Sometime in or after your first week of indoc, would you post the a/c offerings out of DFW for your class?

kinda suprised that comment was even made, while many of us have opinions on Eagle's current upgrade situation, how many people actually make a post about "going somewhere for quality of life" as opposed to "chasing the quick upgrade"....If eagle gives him the QOL he needs to do the important things in life, so be it....from his post, it sounds like he made a more informed decision than many of the other posters on this website...best of luck in training.
