Mesaba will cover 1 per year (seat doesn't matter) ONLY if you are enrolled in thier medical benefits. Since I am on my wife's plan I get nothing....

Well I'll be. Not that it's a big expense, but having it covered would be nice. I'm jealous now.

At one point, AA and AE pilots could get a free medical from the company doc at DFW...of course there are some inherent risks there. Most folks find that one trip to AA medical per lifetime is enough :rolleyes:

I have Humana and they covered mine. I was shocked when the ladies in the reception said all I needed to pay was my $30 deductible.

Of course my insurance covers it, when I go the doc is always says “allergies got you again?” “Yes Sir!” $20 and I am out the door.
