some of MESA's pilots will be in demand when and if MESA folds. As I indicated in another post, the other regionals will not have the equipment or the pilots to just fill the vaccum left by MESA automatically.
Somtimes prematurely jumping out to the frying pan can lead one into the fire.

Ship # 7011 is still flying and it does a great job. And yes it does have over 35,000 hours. It First CRJ200 in the USA.

As of today 7011 has 35,076.36 hrs and 32,707 cycles, but it's not the highest time airframe. 7018 is the winner with 35,243.31 hrs and 32,444 cycles. The original airframe limit was 40,000 hrs, but with I think Bomabardier has increased it to 60-80,000 hrs. I really don't see them flying that long as far as airline operators go.

Most likely, a mesa collapse would simply be absorbed industry-wide as part of the current downsizing. A few post-mesa jobs will crop up, but nothing like the last few years.

If you are at mesa, and plan on staying in aviation after the end, get a job NOW, like this week. That way you will beat the rush. If I'm I'm wrong, and there is a lot of hiring you can always take advantage of it when it materializes.

It looks like Mesa closed today around 46 cents.... the end is near, folks. There is NO good news on the horizon, and I concur with the above post. GET OUR NOW !!!!

Even if Mesa can hold on for a few more days / weeks, there is a HUGE debt payment coming due in a month or two, and then the Aloha legal issues.

MESA may be like TWA..for the longest they never turned a profit and yet stayed afloat for years until American took over.

I saw one of the go! airplanes at CAE yesterday with no engines on it.

I guess if their pilots are allowed to sleep....so are the airplanes.

My bet is they are BK by the end of June at the latest.... they have a crap load of bonds that can be called due then..... 100 million I believe.
