Passengers already have a bill of rights. If they don't like the airline they just flew on, they have the right to never fly on them again. Typical huffing and puffing and pandering from politicians.

Well NY didn't have the 9th circuit court on their side...this one will likely have to go to the supreme court to get overturned.

Totally agree. But I still think the airlines do it on purpose. They make so much money with the aircraft sitting on the ground. Plus they get a real kick out of making the passengers just sit there. People can be so ridiculously stupid.
