The most "stable" Regional
I was wondering:rolleyes: which RA is the most "stable" as of right now.
By stable, I mean that it’s overall in good shape and the chances of going out of business or furlough personnel doesn’t seem to haunt the pilot group. I know this is a never ending changing industry and that one event could mean the end of the best. I’m really sure this question wonders in the head of many prospective new Regional Airline pilot and also those on the line…. TI:rolleyes: |
Oh boy, here we go.

I would have to say Comair
|
Maybe Republic?

I think its safe to say...you cant ever say stable and regional in the same sentence unless you are being sarcastic.
|
it's probably a lot easier to start at the other end of the list and say which ones are the most unstable!

Whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO MESA

The mose stable regional? ACA? Indy Air? They seem like they're pretty stable these days. The rest of the regionals....who knows. Everything changes so fast, nobody can pretend to predict the future.

Just ask people at Comair about the most stable regional, being owned by delta means everything they were the place to be. Ask Air Wisconsin about the most stable regional, they were untouchable out of denver with the BAE Jet. Ask Express Jet about the most stable regional, they were Continentals baby, with a flow through. Bottom line it is not stable, not at this level in the game. Roll the dice. Something to consider is cash in the bank, in a market of liquidity problems cash becomes king.
Best of luck in your search. |
