It's certified for cargo. There are a few L-100 (the herk's civilian model number) hauling boxes around. I would imagine people wouldn't be a hard transition

When I flew corporate, one of the company owners was once an Air Force pilot. I begged him to get a Herc, my pitch was he could drive his SUV on, and then off at the destinations, no messing with car rentals. Funny, he never thought I was serious

Yeah, I know. I was going to throw that in my original post as a joke because the guy posted that "CAL's scope is restricted to 274" but decided to go a little more subtle.
