Mesa closes ops
 

This is just a rumor because I don't have any solid info yet, but a friend just called me and said that Mesa is closing its doors because of Delta. I guess the decision came through. I mean, no bankruptcy or anything.

He said that on the news in Albuquerque that they were losing money already and it isnt worth it to keep operations running.

Again, this is just a rumor, as is came off a news channel in New Mexico.

People will post anything now-a-days. Any rumor heard from anyone.

Probably meant Mesa's Air Midwest ops.

I found an article with today date saying that if they lose Deltas contract they will file Bankruptcy by 7-20-08 nothing about shutting down. On PHX channel 5 website

This is extremely unlikely at this point...maybe later in the summer.

Yeah, they'll probably fire their CFO stating that they found porn on his laptop thus buying them a few more days or weeks to further cook their books. :eek:

They ran a lot of airmidwest in and out of ABQ. That would constitute a closing of opps for local media. Most likely what they are talking about.
