It is obvious SkyWest is gearing up for something in the short term. We are fat on pilots and now interviewing and hiring.

And yet they wanted to furlough 700+ XJT pilots.;)

This guy seems to be an ok cat. He got the thread off to a bad start without thinking about how it would come off. He has an idle curiosity about why his company is in hiring mode and they are over staffed for there current agreements. Not a bad dude, just misunderstood/misinterpreted. We all need to think about why we are doing this and if we screw over a fellow pilot for our own advancement. Its going to get nasty for a while and we all need to think about who we really are. Would we leave a fallen comrade to save our own skin ? Could we live with ourselves knowing that somebody that was gainfully employed last month is on food stamps or worse just so we could get our 2 yr upgrade? These are the times that try men and we all answer those questions by ourselves.
