This isn't pinnancle...and I have never heard of an examiner at Comair doing that. |
I think the point is that knowing Limitations and EP's verbatim is pretty typical. As someone previously posted...suck it up and don't give them an excuse to mark you wrong.
Good Luck |
You know, when I went through new-hire school over a year and half ago... I didn't have take a written memory items/limitations test either. Oh well.

I apologize if it came off as if I wasnt studying. I have been studying alot actually. I just wanted to know if I miss one word like "select" or use "push" instead of "press". To the ASA pilot I counted 29 limitations and 28 EPs.
It's no big deal, do your best and if you said press instead of select they will call you in, ask you what you meant and let you correct it. |
Oh yeah, you should have taken your systems test today... did everyone pass? I heard a couple people in a class ahead of you didn't........

Everyone in my class passed the systems test we had a very good review.

Knowing the QRH word-for-word isn't the point of knowing your memory items. The point of it is knowing what to do in what order to do it instantly when it happens without having to look it up. That goes for flows as well. I remember back in the 50, the engine start flow, in my head, would be "Off, off, on, off, on, start" not "Thrust lever is shutoff, generator is selected to off/reset, fuel pump on, packs selected off, ignition A/B selected, start button push" Now the start flow on the 700/900 is just "off, on, start" :D |

If an examiner ever pulled that on me, I'd "select" my thumb into his eye socket.

For all you guys currently in class, did they ask for ATP written results on the first day. Art Wanzo never really specified whether or not I needed it for then. I assumed I did, but with wrapping things up with my former employer and moving, I totally forgot about it with my class starting next Mon. I'm gonna be on the road most of today otherwise, I would just spend all day studying. I really don't wanna be sent home cuz its not done. Any comments??
