They're two separate seniority lists.

What you're alluding to will NEVER happen.

Did you read the arbitrator's ruling? Must not have. Merging of the lists WILL happen, it's only a matter of when and how as far as I know. While there will be fences in place, there might be a credible threat to Colgan pilots if 9E tried to furlough 9E pilots. It would take some court dragging but last time I checked 9E's legal dept. is about 0 and 2 for the year (Delta contract, arbitrator ruling on Colgan).

NEVER is a strong word.

While that ruling was correct- maybe you need to send an email to Erickson and ask him why the arbitrator suddenly reversed his ruling saying that Pinnacle Corp and Pinnacle Airlines air, in fact separate entities. The lists do not have to be merged.

That is why I'm saying it won't happen.

I hope they are merged, but hoping another group loses their jobs because you're flying inefficient aircraft is just low.

Hows that? When Colgan came along you guys wanted nothing to do with their seniority list. But now you do..

1. The 900 is not inefficent, the 200 very much yes.

2. Colgan has lost money every quarter since Pinnacle Holdings bought them.

3. This is business not friendship, Im looking out for number 1. Without the Q400's which the pinnacle pilots worked so hard for Colgan guys to fly, Colgan would not even have close to the number of pilots over there. My first thought on the unemployment line is not gonna be "well im glad its me and not Colgan because that would have been low".

Negative...that's what the whole "Take the company to court in order to get one seniority list" thing was about. We've wanted that from the beginning, but the company wants to keep us separate. Divide and conquer is a tactic pilots fall for all too often.

Ya we wanted nothing to do with it... the union only filed a major lawsuit for job protection. Nothing at all.

Boys,

You put 20% on the street in a knee jerk reaction to 9/11. Only to call them back in a week. Why not but some folks on the street to get a TA approved. After all the TA will be marginally the same as the "last best offer" with a $300-500 FO sign on bonus.

Oh and I heard this from a unnamed high level source!
