XJT Just Published Severence Package

ExpressJet just published a severance package for all employees including pilots. Furloughs are next.

I agree, but hopefully some really senior farts will take this and help mitigate the amount furloughed. Still, I wouldn't expect furloughs until Sept-Oct.

Furloughs are next? You mean after these Early Outs, COLAs, FlyBe, attrition, No-Fly Lines, and Job Shares...right?

I just hope we can get the company to go for that stuff - I guess they did last time. We also need to make sure the lines are all reduced to MMG, maybe we could even talk them into reducing the MMG to 65-70 hours. I, like you am not in danger of going to the street but we need to try to keep all of our guys here.

What happened at Express Jet?..not being insensitive....I have not heard what is going on...good luck.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the reduction of the line divisor to MMG. I'm not sure about lowering below that though. But I do think the company is open to No-Fly Lines (although probably not at the same value as last time) and Job Sharing. I agree that we need to keep as many guys employed here as possible. Do I know you?

New CPA with CAL that pays a straight block rate and the parking of 29 aircraft.
