AE ERJ Jumpseat/final paperwork
When you get your final paperwork after the flight is closed, is there tolerance built in or if your pass/cargo or j/s changes at all do you have to get new paperwork? I realize that it has to do if you are close to GW but assuming it is not. Also what is the range on the 44 seater full with no alt req.
Thanks for the info. Just trying to get smart on the subject.

The 44 seater (140's) is just as bad as the 135's. We don't have a lot of room to play with when it comes to the WB of the airplane. Its all done with the EWBs, we send the fuel which we can get as close to the release as possible but if there is any kind of alternate and full load forget about a jumpseater Good news is that the 145's Heavy Modified are very nice. LOAD THEM UP!

Having the W/B out of the crew's hands is ridiculous...Sat on the taxiway on a mainline AA flight for 35 minutes while they decided how to handle the passenger load (I was in the actual). It was completely unecessary confusion...

If new cargo or pax/js show up after the flight is closed you need a new load closeout. On the 135, and to a lesser extent the 140, you often run into a max zero fuel weight problem before MGTOW problem, in terms of accomdating a js'er.

Thanks for the info. I was just curious. When we get our final paperwork we usually have a tolerance to add/sub a few pass or cargo without new paperwork which can be very helpfull. The airport I commute out of just went from Saabs (j/s never available) to the ERJ. Though it would help with the commute, but doesn't seem so.
