All you poolies hang on just a bit longer. were set to get seven 90's starting in October which resulted in the need to promote 30+CA's and 14FO's and if we meet big daddy D's performance we should get 7 more starting early 09'. Not to mention the whole mesa/freedom injunction that put a screeching halt to hiring is almost up and as far as I can tell they are failing miserably in there performance #'s are the lowest of all of the connection carriers. If mesa goes and new a/c are going to be on the property..........? This all seems to point in a positive direction*. PM if you have some questions Ill tell you what I know, not that I’m "on the inside" but just my insight on what I see. Ive enjoyed being at Comair and its worth hangin on for just a bit longer if you can.

Oh boy, please stop using words like promotion, should, growth, etc. As much as I want to see the guys in the pool get called, we haven't experienced growth at Comair for years. The seven airplanes from Freedom isn't doing much, and we are not "promoting" any CAs. How many COLAs were offered for October? How many guys are on reserve again in JFK starting next month? "If we meet big Daddy D's performance we should get seven more airplanes? Where did you get that from? A mechanic told you or the van driver that took you to the airport? You do realize that DL has other contractual obligations with other regional carriers. So far I haven't seen any new airframes on property, until then I won't believe it until I am sitting in one.

I emailed Art a few days ago asking if the pool would be cancelled after the furloughs take place and I haven't heard back yet. Guess I'll call him if I don't hear back soon. Anyone else have any rumors about this subject?

Here, is a ray of hope for you guys... really its just one of those rumors you hear from people who really know nothing. But any possible good news is good, especially the situation you are in. Heard this from a flight attendant who is dating a JFK Alpa rep (yes I know, its not very credible). She told me we really didnt lose all the 900's Delta was going to give us. She said it was just another jump the gun move by management. Dont flame me for posting this, I just dont like to give bad news to anyone.
