Colgan Repos and Runups gone
I get told to contact about 5 people concerning runups and repos and why they aren't appearing on my schedule. Well, I guess someone forgot the memo, but it doesn't seem like they are paying us anymore to move airplanes or do runups. Crews don't know anything...business as usual here.

You need to call dispatch at the end of every night to make sure you are credited for what you did that day. Then double check at the end of every week. And then, triple check right before pay day. I know it sucks, but if you want to be paid, you have to keep up on it.
Sorry guys...

I don't work there anymore, but I did get the email about the pay. From what I read you guys are doing the FFOD with pax on board? I know Piedmont and many others do this, but again it is another way for them to take money away from you. Oh well...

question for the Colgan guys.....was morale/quality of life there better before the Pinnacle buyout? Have you seen morale deteriorate since Pinnacle? Because it seems like since being Pinnaclized, the Colgan guys have the same guys Pinnacle pilots have had, only Pinnacle pilots had the same problems 3 years sooner. It's like going back in time reading these posts and the ways the company tries to screw you out of a dollar, maybe not intentionally but I know if I'm short $50 on a paycheck it involves 6 phone calls and 30 minutes of my time to get it right, but i guarandamntee that if they overpay me by 15 cents they will find it and payroll deduct it sometime in the following 2 years.

Overall I believe moral has gotten worse. Some of that maybe because of Pinnacle, some because people who thought they were just going to get their time and get out now see it's not as easy as it sounds and are stuck somewhere they didn't want to be more than 3 years. The irony here is that if Pinnacle wouldn't have purchased Colgan, Colgan would be out of business by now. In fact they would have been out of business months ago....

We used to do the checks with passengers also. Then, they said we couldn't do it anymore. Now we are doing it again.

When was that? I've been here three years and until that memo we never did runups with pax onboard. It's been prohibited in the FOPPM and it even showed up as a remark on the release about "runups with passengers on board are prohibited." I can't speak for beyond three years ago.

I have contacted our chief pilot. He is clueless about the whole thing. I figured it is about 4% of our salary if you do morning schedules. Email or call him and ask him if he has accepted a %4 pay cut like us. He needs to be working for us not for slimy managment. And for once we need to unite and decide on a union. Fellow Colganites it is time we sh!t or get off the pot. They will take more money and make us work harder for it. As for monkey-boy get over the fact you don't work here. Nobody cares about your opinion of Colgan. I meet expressjet folks all the time that have more sense than you.

Why some of you people get so upset when people comment on how poorly an airline Colgan is to wokr for is beyond me. The guys are great, but the company blows..............this is just another example
