With the current state of Mesa.....I guess I didn't realize they were still interviewing and hiring? Anyone considering going to Mesa to get some 121 time and move on should have already figured out these days are long gone (for now) since almost everyone has halted hiring and canceling newhire classes right and left. Plan on spending a good amount of time there before moving on. This is not a good time to be sitting on the bottom of the seniority list anywhere. Good luck!

helpful advice.

CD I have no dog in this hunt but if you need to build time and other options are closed then I would say go for it and use it to your advantage ,some in here will disagree but then again they are working and getting a check every week , so do what you have to do for now and then consider other possibilities later , one has to get ones foot in the door somewhere and maybe some of these guys can help you get work where they are at:) dont hear much in here about Comair so maybe you can check with them and then make a decision .
Good luck on whatever path you choose.

I have already gone through most of the ATP, but some areas to focus on would be nice. Also, anyone know what plates they are using for briefings?

If you'll notice, Mesa is probably one of, if not the ONLY airline in the USA to be hiring right now. That should tell you something about Mesa (ie, they probably can't keep employees).

That being said, if you do decide to interview, good luck.

Gouge for interview.....a pulse!! I use to interview there one question we always asked was explain what a published VDP on an approach plate meant. I was very surprised how many didn't know. But to be honset with you if you were likable and seemed eager we always gave the thumbs up......now some more gouge..... if you can get on at any other regional do it!!
