I just want to scream in joy that oil prices dropped to 130 a barrel today. Maybe i can still have a job at a regional in December when I graduate. If not, i will just flip burgers.

Just wait, someone water skiing in the Persian Gulf is going to wipeout. Oil climbs $5 on that news..

You're falling directly into the oil companies' plans, where the country will be happy with $130/barrel and $4/gallon. I'm convinced that's what's going on.

Don't count on it. The damage has already been done and it is going to take a long time to get back to where we were 6 months ago in terms of employment status. Oil going down to 130$ still doesn't mean much. It's still not allowing a profit to be made. Besides, it's only been going down for a couple of days. That is not a pattern, just the valley between the peaks.

If oil hits $90 I'll strip naked and run down 35L at DEN.

Of course, then someone will go around, demand will increase, and prices will go back up when the speculators see it on the news.
