Some of my buddies didn't get hired at Comair back in 2003, went straight to their second choice (CHQ), and are now senior captains waiting for the majors to start hiring again. Comair did them a huge favor, even if it didn't seem like it at the time.

The big thing is senority. If you spend 5+ years at a regional and only 2-3 years at lakes, thats 2-3 years of senority at another place. Lakes is not meant to be a place to stay, and get cozy!
