Default Mesa TA...

well almost.

The MEC is reviewing the agreement and will approve it for a TA or not (expected next week). They sent out some highlights via email to the pilots...

So how crappy is it, I mean no disrespect to the pilots but and I know I'm preaching to the choir, how bad is it?

Is he increasing your per diem up to $1.60+? Adding Block or Better? Trip/duty rigs? Daily guarantee of at least 3.75? Cancellation that actually gets paid? I mean no offense so don’t take any, I’m just curious what the snake has offered you guys after her said, “it has to be cost neutral.”

We didn't get exact #'s or items included. They bulleted some points that were included/addressed.

Many of the things you listed are in there. Again no specifics given. I'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

Not trying to be vague, but I don't want to run my mouth, only to have something fall through or change. Details as we are informed.

exactly... i dont want to get my hopes up.

I spoke with our union lately and they agreed that NO TA would be approved unless it included all that we demanded on that survey.

They indicated that mgmt was playing fair (we all know how that story goes)

I can tell you one thing... If the TA does NOT include all the work rules that are industry standard, it will get voted down!! no contest.

what was highlighted was a BIG improvment to what we already have in place...but again without workrules and QOL in writing, it wont stand a chance...

I heard the company was willing to contribute to the cost of adding cushioning to the pilots backboards.

They also will be paying for yearly windbreaker cleaning and 50% off Mousse coupons.

its nice to hear that the company is finally starting to budge a little... Maybe they finally realize that in order to keep people there, they have to give them more than food stamps....
