I was a passenger on a Mesa UA express flight today out of Dulles. What a poor experience it was:
1)12:22 out of A swithced at last minute to 1:20 out of C concourse. 2)Flight boards at 1200 leaving paz behind until they scream to get on board. 3)Flight attendent brand new.Reads all announcements off a classroom handout with back to pax. 3rd graders could have done better. Very unprofessional. 4) We wait for fuel -20 additional mins after sched dept. 5)2 people have to move from front to back for Weight and Balance THEN they put 450lbs ballast in aft baggage because they LEAVE ALL PASSENGER BAGS behind because they will not wiat for them to come over from concourse A! 6) FO is on IOE (initial operating experince) flight. What a joke. Our new company policy will be: NO MORE REGIONALS. No wonder business aviation is growing! 2. Again, not the crews fault.......happens at all majors and regionals. 3. Even Flight Attendants are new hires at some point.......I would rather have an FA read the announcement correctly from the card, than have him/her give an incorrect pax announcement. Of course most pax ignore the announcements completely. Obviously, you don't. 4. Not the airline or crews fault. Major airlines and regionals, at some point, have to wait to be fueled at busy airports. 5. Not the crews fault that they have to balance the CG. Too bad that bags were left behind, but the crew has to address the weight and balance issue that is presented to them. 6. IOE is a part of the training environment. I'm sure the FO was doing his best to LEARN. As an aviation wonder, I'm sure you never had to do IOE.......right TOPGUN? Give them a break. We've all been there. |
He's lost that lovin feeling...

I think the topic of this thread should cover the mess out of JFK lately. Tomorrow will be day 3 trying to make it home. Gotta love it!
