Easy Hot Rod, Rick's former Mesa current SKW and I'm sure he cares about what happens to their pilots but JO's got to go one way or another. This is business and if you're going to get behind a regional for losing flying then it should have been XJT, AWAC, Horizontal, Skyway, TSA or anyone else who has ever lost and "F" their pilots. Bottom line, this is what happens when you fly someone else’s routes.

Oh and I agree with cessna157:

I wish the best for all pilots but JO's got to go!

This guy is a Mesa management stooge. He has been posting pro-OJ stuff all over the board. Next time, don't be so obvious.

I left mesa after too many years for a lateral move when I realized that the pilot group would probably not stand up for themselves AGAIN in 2007. I do feel bad for some of my friends who have been there for years, but I have a hard time feeling much for anyone who showed up in the last 2-3 years...if they had been a little less eager to check their dignity and self-respect at the door, then maybe OJ would have had to treat me (and about 1000 other recent LAMAs) better so as to retain our services. Novel concept...

The ironic thing is that whatever improvements you DO get are likely due to the actions of those who left, not because of those who stayed...OJ knows he will not survive another mass exodus if hiring picks up again in the near future.

Ideally the company will self-inflict enough damage to force the flushing of the current management team, but still provide jobs for at least those who have been there too long to get out.
