Anyone looked at this TFR for the RNC in MSP on monday? Yeah there is several of the "non one but scheduled ops TFR's but for about 2 and a half hours it looks like MSP will be shut down... oughta be fun.

Hmm, I guess you haven't seen MSY's TAF yet today... Good luck with that wind 50G80.

 

Why would this affect MSP's traffic? It lays within the B surface area, so so unauthorized aircraft would be there anyway.

 

Because during some of that time, ALL traffic will be unauthorized.
