As a Skywest pilot, that's the most stupid thing anyone could say.

As a Horizon pilot, I concur as well.

Just curious because I honestly don't know, but what routes was Horizon serving that XJT started serving?

XJT had multiple city pairs for both of those cities. Which specific city pairs did XJT begin service on that Horizon ALREADY serviced?

In GEG, it's the other way around. After Xjet started service out of GEG to ONT, SMF, SAN, TUS, and RNO. We got an addtional QX flight to LAX, QX service to SMF and QX service to SAN. Now that Xjet is gone. AS/QX service in GEG has gone back to much of what it used to be before Xjet came on the scene.

Not sure if that answers your question....

Yes it does, thank you. This is what I thought because I specifically remember XJT saying that they were serving city pairs that had NO ONE serving them.

I believe that it was the same for the BOI flights as well? I would be surprised if it wasn't.

In essence, XJT didnt' try to "takeover" anyone's routes as Riverside tried to assert.

Horizon still saw it as XJT stepping on their toes. QX has significant operations in both cities, and sends passengers from GEG and BOI all over the west coast. Any new flight from either city to the west coast was bound to be matched by Horizon.

Maybe, and obviously that is how Horizon felt, but I just reject Riverside's premise that XJT was trying to take over Horizon's routes when those routes didn't even exist until XJT serviced them.

Seems that Riverside's a flamer, hopefully he'll learn the error of his ways.

XJT’s branded flying will be sorely missed by many, myself included.
