Mesa to Furlough 150
 

Looks like with the CA downgrades, there will be 150 additional FO's hitting the street. Word is they're asking for volunteers to take a year's leave of abscence. Most senior affected is around Jan 2008.:( JO continues his death march to the lav!:rolleyes: Good luck guys!

Amazing that they've hired 150 since Jan 2008

Don't forget about the 49 that were already furloughed while in class

Also amazing that people are still going there

It's the stop of last resort for the folks that bomb out at other interviews... unless you live close enough to one of their bases, and can do ready reserve from your living room.

Or pilots that need a job and were already furlougheded by another company......

Not everyone that works at Mesa bombed an interview somewhere else. Granted, they hire a lot of inexperienced low time pilots but not everyone there is a 250TT wonder.

Mesa guys, sorry to hear this, no matter where you work it sucks when layoffs are involved, maybe this will lead to something better for you..
IS this out of your Den and ORD bases, or system wide?
