New Mesa TA

from the mec
Fellow Pilots,
After working with the company to address the failed TA, our Negotiating Committee presented the results of their work to the MEC at a special meeting here in Phoenix last week. The MEC ratified the Tentative Agreement and it was signed by the company a few moments ago. Now, we will begin work to get the document ready to go to the pilots for a vote. The first part of this process will be merging our current agreement with the TA.

whats that last part about?

Not sure but there should be no merging of documents. That last one wasn't worthy of wiping my ass with...and I didn't vote yes for it. Stand strong, fix it or burn it down!

I'm with slice...ANY part of the old contract is bad news. There is so much imbedded weasel language that you would pretty much have to rewrite the whole thing anyway.

According to the RLA you can only amend certain parts of the contract, the ones which you filed for at the beginning of negotiations, that is what the last part refers to.

Any idea on what has changed (and what it was?)
