Ok... gimme an idea where that would be.

I don't dig fractionals/biz jets by the way.

Not many places that pay you more the first year than XJ, but some will claim they do. The APC payscales for us arent up to date, but everyone bases their opinion on them

Actually, the APC rates seem correct. At least for my longevitiy and seat it does. All the rates are rounded off. Regardless, compensation is far more than a pay rate. You can have new hire starting pay at $50/hr, but have crap workrules to support it, it doesn't matter. Our work rules were untouched in bankruptcy and remain pretty good, comparitively. It's our pay that took a hit... thank goodness for the snapbacks.

Pretty much what I was trying to say, I'm not going there for the money, if I was after only the money I'd go work for Blackwater.

How do you know? Dont you work for 9E? Do you have a copy of the XJ contract with the updated pay scales? I think the ones on APC are rounded numbers.

Is there a way to tell if HR has looked at your app? Does the "updated" date change if someone from HR looks at it?

That is the jist of what I meant, give or take fifty cents or so....and then a 9E chimmed in:eek: We you and 85 guy, or did you do the SAAB?

aviatorhi 10-18-2008 02:17 AM

Ok I'm not really following what is and what isn't... are the APC rates correct or are they high for Mesaba? If not what are the correct rates?

HercDriver130 10-18-2008 04:13 AM

Sounds like you have a pretty good gig up in our Artic State....

DONT go to Mesaba only to fly a jet.... or any type for that matter.... things like that tend to end badly

Comment 1) "guys with 121 and upwards of 1000 hours".... are not what I would call VERY experienced....

Comment 2) you arent old enough to apply at compass or pinchnickle yet you would go fly for "Blackwater" if the money was the motiviation... and what... at your young age you have the military time, black ops background, and clearances those bubba's are generally looking for..... hum....

Good luck in what ever you do decide.... its a mess out there right now.
