Mesa didn't "offer" jack-it was required of the J4J protocol.We did likewise.

It is the responsibility of all pilots flying for the minor leagues to immediately quit their jobs in protest. Unless you work for one of the good minor league airlines.

In that case it is your responsibility to pickle yourself in hatred.

Republic is the new Mesa. These guys walk tall thinking they are a mainline pilot in their erj-170 because they take mainline jobs. Any republic pilot that agrees to fly whipsaw routes should be shunned.

I hear the excuse "we can't help what management makes us do". If Midwest pilots were on strike, would you still fly their routes? No, because if you did, you would be a scab. If it weren't for the current NMB cronies, Midwest pilots would be on strike for their contract be violated. So, anyone that agrees to do their flying is no better than a scab.
Republic pilots need to take a stand for what's right or face the scrutiny of their peers.

How is a 170 any different than a CRJ-700 or 900? What does the engines being slung under the wing mean when the same engine is on the CRJ? I'd love to know.

So, I'm curious, which holier-than-thou regional are you working at? I bet you're taking somebody's job too.

Do you really believe what you are saying? You really believe we are no better than scabs? I'm an RAH pilot so I guess you must be talking about me. Yeah I sure love strutting through the terminal with my chest all puffed out right before I walk down the jetway to my sexy E170 with the engines under the wings while I point and laugh at all the suckers flying planes with engines on the tail and gloat about taking mainline jobs. Yeah that's just how it is. You got us all figured out...

Texas works at PSA, a company that operates aircraft with 70 seats.

If you review his previous posts, you will find many unfounded and mindless comments. He holds a vendetta for many regional carriers and is of the belief that PSA is the only regional that deserves USAirways business.

Yeah, that was my point.

I fail to see why the 170 is such a big and bad plane because it's CF-34s are on wing pylons when the -900 can carry just as many people with it's CF-34s on the tail. I don't see MD-80 drivers crying to 737 drivers...

Anybody flying anything with a turbojet is taking a mainline job. However they gave those to us when they gave up scope. And for those that scream about not having a choice because of bankruptcy, you could have walked and let it burn too. Pot, meet Mr. Kettle.

Face it guys, you're regional drivers. It's not your flying, it's mainline's. As long as management groups have us fighting with each other over who's turd is more polished, they're winning.

Didn't the PSA pilots cut a back-room deal for the jets in the dark of night when all the wholly-owneds were trying to make a stand, deliberately and knowingly slithering around the backs of the ALG and PDT pilots in the process? Now PSA has all the shiny jets and PDT/ALG are flying the run-out Dashes after a merger and downsizing.

Yeah, I remember that. That is a little different than flying a ASA entered into by the company and that there is no legal standing to refuse. I reckon the newer guys at PSA wouldn't know this. That skeleton in the closet would not be something the perpetrators would actually be eager to advertise.
