I owe John Pennekamp a apology. Sorry. I'm a former Check Airman at ASA and can tell you the most dangerous thing in a cockpit is a complacent FO and a "IN CHARGE" Captain.
The FO is there to assist and CHALLENGE the Captain on decision making when SAFETY is concerned.
We have had PLENTY of incidents at ASA that could of been prevented if the FO voiced their opinion.
Once again, in know way do I infer JP is that kind of Captain. Sorry.
