i said its possible. every year in your recurrent sim dont you have some off-the-wall crazy scenario? why do you think that is? because it can happen. we (as pilots) are EXPECTED to handle any emergency onboard the a/c and do so promptly, effectively, and precisely. if not...we are banned from flying by the faa, thrown in jail by the local jurisdiction, ridiculed by the media, spit on by the public, and sued by the victims. all that for poverty level income.

Sounds good to me! Or how about the FA carries a tip cup around for the pilots... haha. It is a SERVICE industry. Pay up! Nobody here probably thinks twice about tipping the hotel shuttle guy even though he's probably making more money than the FO. I had a Captain once refuse to let me tip the hotel shuttle guy. The lower rung of pay IS a joke in this industry.
