CRJ fault message "cheat sheets"

Ok, my next CRJ request. I'd appreciate whoever might have a compilation of the circuit breakers that need to be thrown to reset certain EICAS messages, for all model -200,-700, -900.

Thanks,

Tony

Haha! Here we go again Tony! I'd duck if I were you! Allah Akbar!

I flew the 200 back when, and came up with a palm OS database of all 390 some odd breakers (including the ones in the tail but not the galley ones), their location, bus bar and cross referenced them to the known reset procedures. Took quite a while to develop. Then our company prohibited resets without MX control direction, I started flying a different plane and stopped carrying a Palm in favor of a real laptop. No, I don't have it anymore.

So, get out the manuals and start learning. It will be fun :-)

Wow. I hang out in bars when I'm bored on the road. Or porn.

Call MX. ;)

I have one, but I'm not sharing.

DublinFlyer 11-19-2008 11:15 AM

1. Single Chime - "Master Caution"
2. "Cancel Identify"
3. "Aww dammit"
4. Pick up cell phone
5. Dial Mx Control
6. MEL it
7. Fly knowing you won't have the FAA crawling up your ass for not following procedure.

Seriously, the ONLY thing I ever reset is the ACARS if I have to. I hesitate to do that too, because I'd rather call mx control and get a control number that way it's off my shoulders. It's just a little CYA. My certificates are more important than leaving 5 minutes earlier.

After flying the 700 though, you get real good at clearing SLATS HALFSPEED and FLAPS HALFSPEED and SPOILER/STAB FAULT by doing the LRU rigging in the Mx Screen and doing the Spoiler/Stab test. I have all those procedures written down, but they are in my flight bag which aren't with me. Sorry!
