Colgan Air Winter Ops Quiz - Where's the Pay Credit?
Why can Colgan force us to take our time to complete the Winter Ops Quiz and not give us a pay credit? It is illegal for any company to require you to perform a function and not pay you. If it was not mandatory, that would be different, but it was. This is not required by the FAA, like our medical right? Like any other training they require, we should have been paid.

the excuse RAH gives us is that there is no formal time value assigned to it by the FAA. For example part of our recurrent is some home study course. Read a few articles and take some online quizes. It couts for 4 hours of class time by the FAA and it is paid as such. An online runway incursion thing they made us do a few months ago had no time value from the FAA and thus we werent paid to do it. Its total BS.
